Acupuncture services are provided at our office on Tuesdays by Enrico Viselli, LAc.. Enrico is a licensed Acupuncturist who graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. He studied with some of the world's most knowledgeable acupuncturists. His sensitivity combined with his skill and understanding translates into a true gift of healing.

How does Acupuncture feel?
The patient usually feels a mild pinch when the needle is inserted then followed by gentle relaxation of the body and mind. Sometimes the client feels energy flowing thought the acupuncture points. This is normal and beneficial.
How does it work?
Acupuncture treatments can balance Qi, the energy of life, to promote health and vitality on the deepest level. Also, scientific evidence shows that natural morphine like chemicals are released in the brain that stimulate the mind and body to relax.
Is it safe?
Acupuncture has been shown to be safe and effective in hundreds of clinical trials conducted around the world. Sterile needles are used only one time then discarded as medical waste. Only hair thin needles are used in acupuncture treatment.
Is it effective?
The effectiveness of acupuncture has been demonstrated scientifically by hundreds of research studies that have been compiled by the World Health Organization (WHO). Currently, the WHO reports that over 42 medical conditions can be safely and effectively treated with acupuncture.
